These savings may be enough for you develop a new product line. Consider the rent or mortgage on your place of business. Ask yourself if you could save more and be more efficient in another location.
Lost Time & Productivity
Loss of productivity is something that every business has to overcome, big or small. For example, a general lack of a power source could be causing some of your computer systems to not be utilized. Look into using power cable extensions so that you can hook up all of your required devices. Employees need to be able to do their jobs in a timely manner. Having to shut down and change out their power source doesn’t serve this purpose. Work towards fostering communication skills so that you can increase your overall productivity.
Smaller businesses often lack the appropriate organizational structure to become widely successful. You have to hire the right people for the job. Look for people that have natural leadership abilities. You want mentors that can guide other members of your staff. These people can evolve into supervisor and managerial roles as your company grows. Be honest with candidates before you hire them. Make sure that they’re interested in helping your business be successful.

This may give you a little more diversification in the marketplace. You can also combine some of your resources in order to be more of a contender. At the very least, develop your network so that you can expand your horizons. Working together may prove to be beneficial for both parties.
